Treasure Island – house rules
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Treasure Island does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
Our Centre is designed for children up to the age of 12 years. We reserve the right to decline entry to anyone we feel is unable to use the equipment safely.
Age restrictions apply to certain parts of the Play Centre. They are there for the welfare and safety of all guests.
We recommend that children should use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the play area.
Badges, jewellery and any sharp objects should be removed and clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area.
Please remove shoes before entering the play area. Socks must be worn at all times. Shoes must be worn in Jurassica
We reserve the right to restrict play to 2 hours, especially during peak times.
For the child’s comfort, we recommend children wear long sleeves and trousers.
For safety sake, please encourage your children not to play in front of slide exits.
Children should not climb on the netted walls or the system structure.
Please ensure that no food, drink or chewing gum is taken into the play centre. Only birthday parties that have pre booked with us will be allowed to bring a cake into the play centre.
The whole of the Centre including the immediate outside area is strictly no smoking. including the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigs)
Children who are clearly unwell should avoid using the Play Centre.
Balls and similar objects should not be thrown at each other.
Disruptive behaviour such as fighting or bullying will not be tolerated and guilty parties asked to leave. Any refunds will be at the discretion of the Centre staff.
Parents/Guardians are fully responsible for the behaviour and wellbeing of the child in their care and must maintain supervision of them at all times.
In the interest of Health and Safety, please ensure that any food debris which falls on the floor is picked/wiped up as soon as possible. Please report any spillages to a member of staff.
It is important that all accidents are reported to a member of staff, so we can provide any necessary assistance and minimise any reoccurrence. These will be logged and are an important part of ongoing safety audits.
All damage to Treasure Island property either accidental or deliberate must be reported to a member of staff.
Nappy changing and the use of potties etc. should be carried out in the baby changing room. Please place nappies in the correct bins provided. Non – flushable wipes should not be disposed of down the toilet.
For Health and Safety reasons, only food purchased at Treasure Island may be consumed on the premises.
Report any behavioural concerns to a member of staff. Do not attempt to intervene yourself.
Treasure Island Staff supervise the play equipment and help maximise your children's enjoyment from the play experience.
They are not however a replacement for parental supervision. Parents/Guardians should note that while every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the play centre, Treasure Island cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment.
